La Rete S.r.l. nets factory of sport nets and security nets.

La Rete srl was founded first as an individual company in the earliy 70s, based on the strong tradition in nets prodution of the island Montisola. The production initially was focused to small needs and consisted mostly of manual working. Until a score of years ago it was frequent to assist to manual workings with women interlacing the nets in the roads and at their houses, often working in group and sharing the proceeds. In the 70s the nets producers that had great presence in fishing, started to suffer the asian competitors, losing market shares progressively. The businessmen had low capitalization and insufficient propension to inversions in the innovation and declined. The system of Montisola's net producers went in crisis: the reaction was personal reduction and closing.

In those years, Elio Agnesi in colaboration with Bruno Turla started a little nets handcraft production. The success key was not to focus on traditional productions but to focus on market emerging products. La Rete members understood that innovative products needed innovative technologies. The success came understanding that adecuated to the occidental market, amacas were products suitable for the European market. In this period Fiorello Turla reaches the society. La Rete srl, thanks to the new productions, begins to partecipate to the first national fairs ( Sun in Rimini - Milan toys fair - MACEF), then to the international fairs as ISPO in Monaco (Germany) and SPOGA in Colony (Germany). In this period La Rete has become stronger and stronger. Nowadays La Rete is in the first three European producers of amacas and sure the first producer of nets.
