FEATURES AND COMPONENTS

Lifting and transport nets are generally manufactured in a square shape, with variable dimensions ranging from 3 to 6 meters, and finished with a perimeter rope along the edge. The mesh size has maximum dimensions of 60x60 mm; made of high-density polyethylene or high-tenacity polypropylene, it has a minimum breaking load of 2.2 kN and is tested in accordance with the requirements set out in the UNI EN 1263-1:2015 standard. The rope along the edge passes through all the perimeter meshes of the net and is tested according to the UNI EN 1263-1:2015 standard, which requires a minimum breaking load of 30 kN.

It is possible to produce custom versions different from the standard shown below, according to the customer’s needs and the final application.

The load capacity for this type of net is specified by the manufacturer and is expressed in kN/m². To ensure compliance with this specification, it is essential that the load is placed at the center of the net (marked in black), so that the weight is properly distributed over the entire surface.
